Escort Survival Guide: How Escorts Can Protect Themselves Against Law Enforcement
I have a personal vendetta against laws which restrict prostitution. The one thing that I understand is that laws prohibiting prostitution are set in place primarily due to taxation, and because we no longer truly live in a free market economy. This basically means that the government regulates or bans anything they cannot tax or control. Another good example of this which supports my argument is the ban on online gambling that was enacted in 2006. Both escorts and escort agencies are prime targets for law enforcement, and in this article, I want to go over some methods and strategies that can be used to protect yourself.
Note: To everyone reading this article, understand that I'm exercing my first amendment right. I do not encourage the breaking of laws. This article is a fictional account of events which are not to be taken literally, or seriously.
The first thing that both escorts and escort agency owners should understand is that the main reason law enforcement will come after you is not because of the spread of STDs, or morality, or any of that other BS, but because you are making boat loads of money under the table, and there is no way for them to determine if you're reporting all your income to the IRS. As I've stated in previous articles, this is the REAL reason why prostitution is illegal. This is important to understand because, if you're arrested for prostitution, it will mean the difference spending a short time in jail, or a few years in prison.
You're probably wandering what I mean by this. Well, one thing that Heidi Fleiss and Jody Gibson have in common is that both spent almost two to three years in prison. The main reason why they got these long sentences was because of tax evasion, not prostitution itself. In fact, most U.S. states classify prostitution as only being a misdemeanor. However, escort and agency owners can get a felony tagged on if tax evasion is added into the equation. Unfortunately, since many escorts and agencies don't pay taxes, it is easy to see why running an escort business poses enormous risks.
If escorts and escort agencies wish to protect themselves from law enforcement, they first need to become familiar with the laws in their city, county, and state. I've been notified by various sources that in some states, police are allowed to go undercover, pose as a client, have sex with the escort, and then arrest her. This practice is similar to what undercover narcotics officers do. Becoming familiar with the laws and guides or your city can allow you to protect yourself from becoming a victim.
One good rule of thumb is to be cautious in how you keep records. For a escort agency owners, this is notoriously difficult, because keeping records is important in the smooth running of your business. Law enforcement will use records as evidence against you in court, and it can be demonstrated that you committed tax evasion, because the records could show transactions you didn't report to the IRS.
One smart strategy is to keep records in a place other then where you services the cutomers. In other words, if an agency owner has a certain facility where his escorts serve customers, do not keep the records there. Keep it in an undisclosed location, at a place where law enforcement can't find it. If you're arrested, and they get a hold of your records, you're in deep trouble.
Another strategy is to create what is called a "mobile escort agency." Instead of having your service situated in one location, where it could easily be identified and targeted for a raid, a shrewd agency owner could change locations frequently, or not offer incall at all, making it even harder for law enforcement to track you down. An additional strategy is to build up a great reputation on HER. Hobbyists always trust escorts and escort agencies which have lots of established reviews.
Many escorts also have a screening process to check our their clients before the session starts, and many escorts as for a vice check, which generally involves the client showing his privates before the session starts. Again, this will not work on undercover cops who are authorized to have sex with the escort. The laws in various states vary, so be cautious with and learn these laws so you can make money and avoid finding yourself behind bars.
