How to Avoid Scams, and Escort Services Which Promote YMMV
It is impossible for me to calculate the average amount that hobbyists lose in a single year as a result of escort service scams. The one thing that I'm certain of is that the amount is large, and is probably in the hundreds of thousands of dollars range. Regardless, the fact of the matter is that many hobbyists are getting scammed bad. Some get scammed so badly that they stop hiring escort services for good, and I can't blame them.

As the old saying goes, “haste makes waste,” and these hobbyists are in such a rush to get laid that they have a bad case of what I will call Blue Balls Syndrome, a condition which is characterized by rushing to hire an escort when you're horny, disregarding the many rules that must be followed to avoid being scammed.
Let me ask you a few questions to really get you thinking. If you decided to take a vacation to a country that you knew little about, would you do it without planning? Would you travel to the country without reading about it, without checking out the political scene, or without taking the time to figure out which hotel you'd stay at in advance?
Most of us would agree that planning a trip like this, if you even want to call it that, is a little bit ridiculous. It is very likely that you wouldn't enjoy your trip very much, and even if you did, you'd spend a heck of a lot of money. Lets give you another analogy. If you decided to buy a car, or a new computer, would you do it without researching the manufacturer to make sure they build good products?
Would you move into a neighborhood without checking it out to make sure its safe? Most rational people will answer no to these two questions. However, the situations described in these analogies are equal to the situation you face when hiring an escort service. The truth of the matter is that you have to plan it out, just as you would plan a vacation or the purchase of a new car.
