A client finds a female escort he likes online, and he calls her to set up an appointment. Over the phone, they both agree on the specific amount that the hobbyist will pay. The extra amount that the escort asks for will be much higher than agreed, and the client will often watch her walk away with his money. It is impossible for me to state how many hobbyists have become victims to this type of scam. To avoid the bait and switch scam, if the woman who shows up to your door is not the woman that is in the ad, tell her to get off your door step and go away immediately. Now, to avoid the second variation of the bait and switch, where the girl in the ad photos actually shows up, to avoid being scammed, when she walks through the door, remind her of the amount you agreed to over the phone, and ask her if the amount is for full service. If she is attempting to use this scam, she will be put in a weak position, because she will have to tell you whether or not the agreed upon amount is for full service.
